19-04-2017 21:00 BST - Real Madrid v Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul - Euroleague Playoffs Tips
The Euroleague Playoff action continues at pace with two games taking place on Wednesday night. The team that topped the Euroleague regular season, Real Madrid, are at home for the first game in the best of five series. This is new ground for the Turkish side, who are enjoying their first Playoffs in the Euroleague. Whether they are still enjoying it comes Thursday morning may be a different matter but this is a series that many basketball fans are looking forward to this midweek.
Both of these teams are on a winning run of form heading into this clash. Madrid won four games in a row at the tail-end of the regular season and this helped them to take top spot and finish ahead of the chasing pack. The side from Istanbul won their last three games including the vital final day win that allowed them to push their way into the Playoffs spot. Overall, the Spaniards have enjoyed seven more wins than their Turkish rivals in the regular season but the Playoffs are a chance for a fresh start.
