Lokomotiv need to win
It all looked so good at the end of the opening game in this series for the hosts but even that result masked an under par performance from Lokomotiv. It took a late rally to defeat the Catalan club and although the victory was the important thing, Kuban Krasnodar looked second best for large parts of the game. So it has continued in the next two games in the series and we are now at the stage where it is a do or die game for Lokomotiv. Players like Evgeny Voronov and Ryan Broekhoff really need to grab more points and give more vibrancy to a team who knows that losing is unacceptable in this game.
