Plenty Of NBA Bets Available On Monday
It is a new week but it is the same old line-up of drama and excitement in the NBA. There were a great number of games played out on Sunday but if you thought that this would limit the NBA betting opportunities for Monday, think again. The new week is off to a flying start for basketball fans so no matter what you are looking for, you’ll find plenty on offer from the NBA this week.
The Thunder grabbed a big home win against the Heat, winning by a score of 93-75 and the Cavs picked up a decent away win in Milwaukee, beating the Bucks by a score of 90-108. The Raptors dealt with the Knicks in Toronto, winning by a score of 106-89. The Magic slipped up at home, losing to the Nuggets by a score of 100-119. The Hornets won 98-109 in Minnesota and the Lakers grabbed a 101-87 home win against the 76ers.
The Hawks slipped at home, losing 95-114 to the Spurs and the Clippers won at home, defeating the Pelicans by a score of 107-100. The Celtics also lost at home with the Pistons winning by 97-105 in Boston. The Kings defeated the Wizards in Sacramento, winning by a score of 109-86. The Suns were also home winners, defeating the Mavericks by a score of 98-92.
Houston Rockets @ Indiana Pacers
The Pacers have bene up and down at various points this season and they will be desperate to get back on track in this game, although they are facing very tough opponents. There was a spell when it looked as though the Pacers were timing their run to the playoffs perfectly, but they have tailed off in recent games and they know that they need to turn things around again to get their season back on track. Facing the Rockets is hardly ideal but it may just give the Pacers the impetus they need to pull out a big performance in front of their home fans.
The Rockets are currently 46-23 and this includes a road record of 20-13. The Pacers lost their most recent game, a Saturday home defeat to the Suns, losing 102-107 and they hold a 5-5 record in their 10 most recent games. The Pacers are also on a 5-5 record in their last 10 games, but they are on a 5 game losing streak. Their most recent defeat came on Saturday when they slipped up at home versus the Brooklyn Nets, losing 111-123.
For average points scored, the Rockets lead the way with 103.3 to 96.6 and for average points allowed, the Pacers lead 96.8 to 100.2.
The Rockets expect to be without Dwight Howard, Terence Jones and Kostas Papanikolaou while Trevor Ariza, Patrick Beverley and Jason Terry are all being monitored on a daily basis. For the Pacers, Paul George remains absent while Rodney Stuckey is being closely monitored, as are George Hill, Ian Mahinmi and David West.
Taking the Rockets at +1, at odds of 1.90, should be a safe bet. Bet Now!
Boston Celtics @ Brooklyn Nets
The Nets have rallied in recent weeks and they may find themselves still in with a chance of making the playoffs. The Eastern Conference team appeared to be out of the running a fortnight ago but with four wins out of five games, hopes have been reignited once again, and there could be a lot to come from this team. They face a Boston side who have also endured some ups and downs this season with the Celtics currently experiencing a down-point in their career at the moment.
The Celtics hold a 30-39 record so far and this includes a road record of 12-22. They have lost three games in a row including a Sunday loss to the Pistons, being downed 97-105. This leaves the Celtics with a 6-4 record in their last 10 games. The Nets have a 29-39 record this season and their home record of 12-19 is a major concern. They have managed to win their last two games though, with their most recent game being a 111-123 win in Indianapolis. For average points scored, the Celtics lead 100.7 to 97.4 and for average points allowed, the Nets lead 100.7 to 101.8.
The Celtics expect to be without Isaiah Thomas and they are monitoring Marcus Smart’s fitness. The Nets don’t have any notable injury concerns heading into this match.
Taking the Celtics at +4, at odds of 1.90, should provide you with a good bet for the start of the week. Bet Now!
Charlotte Hornets @ Chicago Bulls
The Bulls had an embarrassing defeat at the weekend, and they will be extremely keen to get back on track. Then again, the Hornets will be determined to ensure that the pain and annoyance around the Bulls lingers a little longer, which could mean that this is an exciting matchup to keep an eye on.
The Bulls lost 91-107 at home to the Pistons on Saturday night while the Hornets come into this game after an away win against the Timberwolves, winning by 98-109.
The Pistons are monitoring Cody Zeller while the Bulls are looking to be without Jimmy Butler, Derrick Rose and Taj Gibson.
The Hornets hold a 30-38 record and this includes a 14-20 road record. In their last ten games they hold a 5-5 record. The Bulls are 42-29 so far this season and this includes a home record of 22-14. The Bulls currently hold a 4-6 record in their last ten games. The Bulls have the lead in average points scored, 100.8 to 94.8 while for average points allowed, the Hornets lead 97.0 to 98.8.
Taking the Bulls with a -5.5 handicap, at odds of 1.90, is likely to be a decent bet for this game. Bet Now!
