Tuesday NBA Action Up For Grabs
There are a number of well-matched games in the NBA on Tuesday, so there is every chance that there will be plenty of excitement and drama on offer. There were some big scores on Monday night, and this is shaping up to be another excellent week in the NBA.
The Pacers slipped to a home defeat against the Rockets, going down by a score of 100-110. The Knicks also lost at home, the Grizzlies grabbing a strong 82-103 win in New York. The Jazz were another team who slumped at home, with the Timberwolves escaping with a 104-106 win.
The bad run of form for home teams continued in Brooklyn with the Nets slipping to a 91-101 defeat against the Celtics. There was home joy in Chicago though with the Bulls winning by a score of 98-86 over the Charlotte Hornets and the Warriors also won at home, trouncing the Wizards by a score of 107-76.
Miami Heat @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks have had a poor time of it late but they still have more than enough time to pull out of their tailspin and safely book their passage into the playoff. However, there will be plenty of teams that will feel as though they can step in and replace them, with the Miami Heat being one of these teams. This is a game when both sides have plenty to play for and neither will be looking to lose this one.
The Heat are 32-37 for this season and they have a road record of 15-19. The Heat lost their most recent game away to the Thunder, losing by 93-75 and they hold a 6-4 record in their last 10 games. The Bucks hold a 34-36 record this season which includes a home record of 19-14. They are on a losing streak of 6 which includes their last game, 90-108 home loss against the Cavaliers. The Bucks have a 2-8 record in their last 10 outings.
With respect to average points scored, the Bucks lead 97.8 to 94.8 and for average points allowed, the Heat lead 97.0 to 97.5. The Heat may be without Josh McRoberts while the Bucks are likely to be without OJ Mayo and Jared Dudley.
Taking the Heat with a -1.5 handicap, at odds of 1.90, is likely to be a sensible bet. Bet Now!
San Antonio Spurs @ Dallas Mavericks
The Spurs are finding form at the right time for a playoff push and this can be seen in the form of Tony Parker. The player, who has shown an excellent run of form for so long in the NBA, has struggled to get going this season but in recent games, he has turned on the style. Over the course of the season, the Spurs and the Mavericks are on a par but with two losses in a row, the Mavericks need to rekindle their earlier season form before too long.
The Spurs hold a 44-25 record which includes an 18-17 road record while the Mavericks have a 44-27 record which includes a 24-12 record in Dallas. The Spurs are on a winning streak of 3, including an away win in Atlanta by a score of 95-114, and the San Antonio side have an 8-2 record in their last 10 games. The Mavericks lost in Phoenix in their most recent game, by a score of 98-92 and they have a 5-5 record in their last ten outings.
For average points scored, the Mavericks lead 104.6 to 102.5 while for average points allowed, the Spurs lead 97.8 to 101.1.
The Spurs are likely to be without Manu Ginobili while Jeff Ayres and Aron Baynes are being monitored on a day to day basis while for the Mavericks both Devin Harris and J Barea are being closely monitored.
Taking the Spurs at -3, with a handicap of 1.90, is likely to be a sensible bet going into this game. Bet Now!
Philadelphia 76ers @ Sacramento Kings
The Kings achieved back to back triumphs for the first time this year and knowing that they face the 76ers next, who have a terrible record on the road, there has to be some hope in the Sacramento camp that they could grab another important win in this game.
The 76ers hold a 17-53 record this season which includes a road record of 5-29. The 76ers lost their most recent game, an away day defeat in Los Angeles, with the Lakers winning 101-87. The 76ers have a 4-6 record in their last 10 games. The Kings have a 24-45 record this season, including a 15-21 record at home. They are on a winning streak of two, with their most recent win coming against the Wizards, winning by a score of 109-86. The Kings have a 3-7 record in their last ten outings.
For average points scored, the Kings lead 101.10 to 91.0 and for average points allowed, the 76ers lead 100.3 to 105.1. The 76ers are monitoring Nerlens Noel and Thomas Robinson while the Kings will be keeping a close eye on DeMarcus Cousins and Ben McLemore.
Taking the Kings at -8, with odds of 1.90, is likely to be a safe bet. Bet Now!
