Saturday NBA Action At Its Finest
Friday night is always a big night in the NBA and this week was another thrilling example of the NBA at its best. The Nets pulled off a massive shock result, wining 8-102 in Washington against the Wizards while the 76ers also managed to win, defeating the Pelicans 96-81 at home. These results alone meant that Friday night was an exciting one with the underdog having their day.
The Celtics lost at home to the Bulls, slipping 103-119 while the Thunder were able to take care of the Warriors at home, winning by a score of 127-115. The Spurs defeated the Trail Blazers, winning 110-96 while the Jazz had more than enough about them to take care of the Lakers, winning 94-85. The Cavaliers got back to winning ways, defeating the Clippers in Los Angeles by a score of 121-126.
The Magic were gunned down at home by the Grizzlies, the game ending 96-106 and the Pistons picked up another win, this time winning a close one in Indiana, defeating the Pacers by a score of 96-98. The Hawks dealt with Toronto, defeating the Raptors 89-110 in Canada while the Mavericks had more than enough about them to deal with the Nuggets at home, winning by 97-89. The Suns defeated the Timberwolves, the Phoenix team winning at home by 110-99 and the Heat dealt with the Kings, the home side slipping to a 83-95 defeat.
Philadelphia 76ers @ Detroit Pistons
The 76ers hold an 8-31 record coming into this game with a 5-15 record away from home. They come up against the Detroit Pistons who hold a 15-25 record, and this record contains a 5-15 record in Detroit.
Both teams won their last game and both teams have a 3-2 record in their last game. This, according to form, could be a close game, but there has been something a lot more impressive about the recent form of the Pistons, and this is shown by the betting odds for this game.

Both teams have a number of minor injury concerns to worry about. The Hawks are monitoring Paul Millsap, Jeff Teague, DeMarre Carroll, Kyle Korver and Al Horford while the Bulls could be without Mike Dunleavy and will be monitoring Joakim Noah and Doug McDermott.
