Saturday NBA Action Brightens Your Weekend
If you are looking to add some excitement to your weekend, the best thing you can do is make sure you check out the great range of NBA games on. There is a decent card of NBA games on offer and these are three of the games that are getting us a bit excited about what Saturday has to offer.
Detroit Pistons @ Milwaukee Bucks
The Pistons have been in very good form of late, especially when you think about their early season form and their 17-26 record indicates a team who are keen to keep the games coming as quickly as possible. The away record of the team from Detroit stands at 10-11 but it is their 7-3 record in their last 10 games, and 3-2 record in their last five matches, that is perhaps the more relevant statistics for the Pistons.
The Bucks have come into this game with a 21-21 record, which includes a 9-10 record in Milwaukee for the Bucks. The home team has a 2-3 record in their last five games and there is a 5-5 record in their last ten for the Bucks.
One interesting thing to note about the two teams is that they have both scored the same average points, 98.2. When it comes to average points allowed, the Pistons have allowed more, an average of 99.8 compared to the 97.2 given up by the Bucks, but it is clear that there may not be a lot between these teams. The Pistons won their most recent game while the Bucks have lost two in a row coming into the Saturday game.
The Pistons had a massive win against the Magic on Wednesday, winning 128-118. Andre Drummond managed to pick up 26 points and 17 rebounds while Greg Monroe picked up 24 points and 10 points. These records would have been well received but Brandon Jennings grabbed most of the plaudits thanks to 24 points and 21 assists, which was a career high for assists. This was the first return of at least 20-20 since 2009. The Bucks lost 99-101 at home to the Jazz on Thursday night and they managed to miss their final five shots in the game, so they could have been closer if they had their shooting game together.
Kyle Singer is being watched closely by the Pistons while the Bucks don’t have any notable injury worries before this match.
This match is likely to be a close one but taking the Pistons, even with a slightly negative handicap is likely to be of benefit. Bet Now!
Brooklyn Nets @ Utah Jazz
The Nets head to Utah with an 18-25 record behind them for this season while their record on the road stands at 10-11. The Jazz haven’t been having the best of seasons either and their 15-28 record looks even poorer than the Nets, which is some going when you think of the criticism the Nets have received at times.
Both of these teams have scored an average of 95.5 points in their games this season while the Jazz have shipped marginally more, 99.1 to 98.4 of the Nets. However, the Jazz come into this game with a win while the Nets have lost their last two outings. The Nets have a 1-4 record in their last five games and a 2-8 record in their last 10 games while the Jazz hold a 2-3 record in their last five games while they hold a 4-6 record in their last 10. This indicates that both teams have a level of consistency in their form of late, although both teams would prefer to win more games!
The Nets were absolutely thumped by the Los Angeles Clippers in their last game, the LA side winning their home game by a score of 123-84. The Jazz won away in Milwaukee in their last outing, grabbing a big victory in the 99-101 win.
At this point in time, there are no injury concerns for either team, so there should be a full squad to choose from for both coaches in this one.
This match really could go either way but the Jazz should be coming into this with a bit of confidence. The Nets will likely have worked on their defence, so you shouldn’t expect a big win for the Jazz, but it should be a narrow win for the home side. Bet Now!
Washington Wizards @ Portland Trail Blazers
This is a game between two teams who an excellent record over the course of the season so far. Most teams will be envious of the 29-14 record that the Wizards hold, and their 11-8 record, but the Trail Blazers won’t be panicking just yet. This is because the team from Portland holds a 31-3 record, which includes a 19-5 record in Portland. In saying that, the Wizards lost their last game and the Trail Blazers have lost their last two games, so both teams will be desperate to turn their fortunes around.
While the Wizards have scored an excellent average of 99.6 points per game, the Trail Blazers have broken the 100 point mark, scoring an average of 103.0. There isn’t much between the two teams with respect to average goals lost with the Wizards shipping an average of 97.1 while the Trail Blazers have shipped an average of 97.2.
The Trail Blazers are on a poor run of form at the moment, standing at a 1-4 record in five games, although this improves to a 5-5 record in their last 10 games. The Wizards hold a 3-2 record in their last 5 games and a 7-3 record in their last 10.
The Trail Blazers have a number of injury concerns for this game with LaMarcus Aldridge, Joel Freeland and Robin Lopez all expected to be missing from this game while the Wizards don’t have any injury concerns going into this match.
In a match like this, it could go either way, but with their current form being stronger, taking the Wizards to win this will be a good starting point for your Saturday betting. Bet Now!
