However, they should also bear in mind that the Pelicans have managed to win three of their last four in Memphis, which may mean that going 4-0 will be a tall order.
Marc Gasol shot 22 for the Grizzlies on Saturday in a narrow win over the Hornets while Zach Randolph served up 12 points. New Orleans also had a tough match on Saturday, eventually succumbing to Dallas late on. Anthony Davis has shone for the Pelicans so far, serving up 57 points and 32 rebounds in their two matches so far this season.

The Mavericks have a 2-1 record so far this season but it is obvious that the team is performing much stronger in the first half than they are in the second half. The team from Boston hasn’t triumphed in a Western Conference arena in over twenty months, so there may be a chance for the Mavericks to power on in the second half.
The Mavericks were cruising at the Pelicans on Saturday but were then strongly outscored in the 3rd quarter before bouncing back in the last section of the game to steal a win. This is something that the team needs to work on and it may be that developing a strong lead actually works against the Mavericks.
The Celtics started their season with a bang, scoring 121 points in a win against the Nets but in their follow-up game they struggled badly, leaving Boston with a 1-1 record after two games. Rajon Rondo has made it back into action but he is yet to be at his best and Marcus Smart has also struggled to find form.

The Nuggets currently have a 1-1 record, suffering a significant defat against the Thunder on Saturday. Aptly for Halloween weekend, the Nuggets coach said that his team playing like zombies in the first half. Ty Lawson performed well on Saturday after a sloppy start to the season but Kenneth Faried had a difficult time at the weekend.
