08/06/2015 01:00 – Cleveland Cavaliers @ Golden State Warriors
Heading into Game 2 of the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors still have home advantage and given that they are already 1-0 up in the series, they know that they have a great chance to extend their lead and be in good shape by the time they get to Cleveland.
One thing that may decide the outcome of this game is how the two teams bounce back after the overtime in Game 1. It has to be said that the Warriors looked like the team who handed overtime most effectively with the Cavs looking pretty jaded in the additional period. The fact that the Cavaliers just missed out on a game winning shot at the end of the game will probably have weighed on their mind as well, giving them a physical and mental issues to contend with at the end of the night.

The Cavaliers need to come out fighting
Obviously the Cavs can go two ways after a defeat of this nature. They can knuckle down and come back determines, or they can crawl into their shell and let the cruel nature of their loss get to them. You know that LeBron James is going to come out firing, but even he needs to better in this game. However, the real aspect that the Cavaliers need to improve on is everyone else in the team stepping up. There have been times this campaign when LeBron has managed to carry the Cavaliers to success himself but it is extremely difficult to achieve this in the NBA Finals, and LeBron is clearly a man that knows all about NBA Finals in the modern era.
LeBron grabbed 44 points but you know he would swap those points with the 26 points and 8 assists that Stephen Curry delivered in Game 1 because Curry got the win under his belt. The MVP for the regular season was effective in Game 1, and it may be that there is a lot more to come from Curry over the rest of the series. With a formidable home record behind them, the Warriors will be extremely confident heading into this game and they will think that they have every chance of taking a 2-0 lead to Cleveland next week.
