The hosts have enjoyed a strong season this year, and they finished top of their Play-Off Group. The 4-2 record means they will be a force to be reckoned with, and many teams would prefer to avoid the hosts in the latter stage of the tournament.
The hosts will fancy their chances
So far this season, Nizhny Novgorod hold a 66.7%-win rate, and this is the strongest percentage they have ever hold. Also, to date, they have scored an average of 83.5 points per game, which is their highest scoring average at this point of a campaign.
The hosts also boast of the top scorer in the BCL so far this season. Kasey Shepherd has bagged a total of 217 points. A few more will help the hosts in the business end of the European basketball season.
The Quarter-Finals of the Final 8 take place on the 5th and 6th of May. The first-placed teams from the Play-Offs will take on teams who ranked second. The Semi-Final matches will be played on 7th of May while the Third-Placed game, and the Final, takes place on 9th of May.
