Atlanta transformed last year from a simple competitor in the East two years ago and became an undisputed protagonist in the conference. And in the whole league. Now we will experience Jason Kidd’s era in the Mavericks. Following Carlisle’s dismissal, the franchise moved to acquire a man that knows them well. He was an NBA Champion with the Mavericks in 2011 (he was their primary point guard alongside the great Dirk Nowitzki). At the same time, Luka Doncic will be asked to prove that the bookies reasonably consider him the main favourite for the MVP award in the regular season.
