Eurocup

There is a good blend of new and old in the EuroCup Semi-Finals which get underway on Tuesday April 6.

EuroCup Semi-Final Game 1

  • AS Monaco vs. Herbalife Gran Canaria
  • Virtus Segafredo Bologna vs. UNICS Kazan

In the Top 16, AS Monaco delivered a 5-1 record over their six games, coming out on top of Group E. They face the team that finished second in Group H, but Group H still has two teams left in the tournament.

Gran Canaria notched a 3-3 record in the Top 16, just squeezing by MoraBanc Andorra in a battle that went to the death. They were bested in the group by UNICS Kazan, who grabbed 5-1 record.

Virtus Segafredo Bologna were also group winners, coming out of Group G with a 6-0 record. So, we have three group winners at this stage of the tournament, with the Boulogne Metropolitans being the only group winners not to reach this stage of the campaign.

These are teams that know how to win basketball games, and they can triumph in challenging positions. This is the business end of the EuroCup, and there is a lot of drama still to come.

No matter what happens on Tuesday night, there will be more games to come on Friday, as the Semi-Finals stage is a Best of Three scenario. If any team holds a 2-0 advantage at the end of the second game, they will make their way to the EuroCup Final. If there is a 1-1 score line, there will be a Game 3 taking place next week.

This is going to be a hugely important week in European basketball, and if you love European basketball betting, you have a lot to look forward. The two EuroCup games on Tuesday evening will provide you with a hugely exciting selection of games to look forward to.
